27th CORNET Call for Proposals closed
The 27th Call for Proposals closed on 27 March 2019. The number of proposals submitted by applicants from various countries and regions has gone up with 22 receipts in total. Thematically, the international research projects range, among others, from renewable energies in the automotive and building sector and textile manufacturing to 3D printing as well as innovative food technology and sustainable packaging.
Several project proposals were also submitted in collaboration with Japan and Switzerland which both joined CORNET as partner countries in 2017 and offer great cooperation potential in the energy sector. This shows that a quantitative increase in partner countries within the CORNET network also has a quantitative and qualitative impact on application receipts.
In a next step, the CORNET Coordination Office is checking if all applications are valid. Following this, a number of international experts are jointly evaluating the proposals being submitted. The results of the evaluation process will be communicated to applicants in October 2019. In January 2020, the funding of the projects can start.
Next call will be opening on 12 June 2019
Research funding proposals can be submitted twice a year. If you missed the 27th call, you might want to participate in the next call which opens on 12 June 2019 and closes on 25 September 2019.
For more information please visit the section Calls for Proposals on the CORNET website. The guidelines and templates for the 28th call will be ready for download once the call has opened.
Reminder: It is also possible to submit joint project proposals with Brazilian partners, since the Brazilian Funding Organisation EMBRAPII joined the network end of 2018 and therefore is the youngest member of the CORNET family.
