If you are an SME organisation, a research institute or an individual SME: once you are interested in participating in a CORNET research project, you may ask yourself a thousand questions about what to do next.
Applying for funding is easier than you might expect because CORNET is designed to provide low barriers and unbureaucratic procedures so you can focus on the reason you are applying: to perform an international Collective Research project to solve common SME problems.
Applying is worthwile as CORNET accomplishes an average success rate of 66 %! So, get your international team together, complete your proposal and benefit from the advantages the CORNET network has to offer.
The section Application process will give you an overview about both, the submission on national as well as international level. Please also check out the CORNET project path that will guide you through all the main steps, providing assistance and further information.
If you have questions about national funding rules, please contact the relevant Funding Organisation of your country/region. If you have questions regarding the common international proposal which has to be submitted via Submission Tool on the CORNET website, please do not hesitate to contact the CORNET Coordination Office which will happily assist you.
Please note: Since CORNET supports pre-competitive Collective Research projects, SMEs commonly benefit from the research which is funded in CORNET but do not receive direct money. Our FAQs might also answer some of your questions, for example, who is entitled to apply.
CORNET issues two Calls for Proposals each year. The current 31st CORNET call closes on 31 March 2021, 12 p.m. noon (CET).
