Cities face major challenges when it comes to climate change. At the same time, urban spaces are innovative centres for confronting climate change. The 9th German-Brazilian Dialogue, taking place online from 17 to 20 May 2021, is dedicated to this complex topic.
The international research funding network CORNET remains on course for growth! The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) from Taiwan has joined the network and will be supporting Collective Research projects for small- and medium-sized enterprises.
The CORNET project NanoHyb is currently working on the development of innovative hybrid textile structures based on nanofibres with a strong barrier effect against bacteria and viruses – a topic of great relevance in the COVID-19 pandemic.
