Partnering Event in Brussels: Agenda fixed

On 19 October 2017 the international funding networks CORNET and IraSME are hosting their next Partnering Event in Brussels facilitating the search for project partners and complementary knowhow from various countries and regions.

For detailed information about the programme please have a look at the final Agenda for the day which is now fixed!

The Partnering Event starts with presentations of relevant funding programmes providing some handy tips for a successful application and collaboration, followed by a CORNET Session which gives first-hand insights about successfully running projects and the advantages of an international partnership.

Pitch your idea or profile

Afterwards, the so called Elevator Pitch Sessions begin – the highlight of every Partnering Event in which you can play an active role: You are very welcome to present your Project idea or Organisational profile in a nutshell (within 5 minutes) to an international audience which might be resulting in a collaboration. If you like to give a presentation, please contact the IraSME office and provide the following information:

  • Your Name and Organisation
  • Title of your presentation
  • Short description on your presentation (“Organisation profile” or 150 letters about your Project idea)
  • Field of technology (any topic is welcome)
  • Please also point out if you agree that your presentation will be published online after the event.

Deadline for the submission of pitches is 9 October 2017

Design your individual agenda

In parallel to the sessions previously mentioned, potential project partners can meet each other face to face. Participants have the opportunity to schedule face-to-face meetings with other participants already in advance: Using the matchmaking tool, you can easily design your individual time schedule for the day!

The event will be taking place at the Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO), the Flemish partner agency within the CORNET and IraSME network. The target groups are SMEs, SME associations and research organisations interested in implementing an international collaboration project which focuses on research and development (R&D) activities resulting in the realisation of an innovative product or process.
