Register NOW: Partnering Event in Aachen

On 31 January, CORNET and IraSME are hosting their first Partnering Event in 2018 which will be taking place in Aachen (Germany) in cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and ZENIT. The event starts at 9.30 h at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University. Target groups of the event are representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), research organisations as well as funding organisations.

Pre-scheduling of face-to-face meetings possible

The Partnering Event starts with presentations of the funding networks providing some handy tips for a successful application and collaboration, followed by a CORNET Session which gives first-hand insights about a successfully running project and the advantages of an international partnership.

In parallel, the face-to-face meetings start. Participants have the opportunity to schedule face-to-face meetings with other participants already in advance: using the matchmaking tool, you can easily design your individual time schedule for the day and meet future project partners in person.

Pitch your idea or profile

The heart of the Partnering Event is the Elevator Pitch Session. Here, you can make use of the opportunity to present your project idea in a nutshell and convince potential partners to join your project in only 5 minutes. Alternatively, you can present your organisation and your technical expertise to meet potential project partners. After the presentations, there is plenty of room to get together and consider a partnership more carefully.

If you want to give a presentation, please send it via e-mail to the IraSME Coordination Office before 22 January 2017. Any topics or areas of research are welcome.

In order to set up an agenda for the event it is necessary to include the following information in your e-mail:

  • Your Name and Organisation
  • Title of your presentation
  • Short description on your presentation (150 letters about your project idea or organisational profile)
  • Field of technology

Please also point out if you agree that your presentation is published online after the event (yes/no).

Participation is free of cost. For registration, please follow this link: On the event page, you will also find the final agenda in due time. Please note that your attendance is mandatory once you have registered and scheduled face-to-face meetings with other participants.

We would be very glad to welcome you as our guest in Aachen on 31 January!
